“In a previous reply it’s stated the camera does NOT have night vision…. However the specs say it DOES have night vision. Any clarification on that please?”

Hello, The M2 Max Pro features WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to adjust the camera's exposure in varying light conditions, but it does not have night vision or infrared capabilities.
