Kind of like a ring doorbell with a shock option. When hardwired, it gets constant power, even if the ignition is off. It goes onto basically low power mode. You have the option of setting the parking sensor to gforce and time lapse, but it takes an actual event to make the camera come back to continuous recording. Motion/shock. It’s monitoring 24/7 but it’s not recording 24/7. It is not a sensitive as I personally would prefer in either mode.
