• Yes the mic works. Make sure it’s plugged in all the way. There’s a diamond shape inlet on the headset and if your not squared up it will not insert flush.

• Yes. When using the headset/headphone, on the Xbox one, go to setting, audio and change to Windows audio (forgot the name) or Dobly audio (if you activate the code that comes). That activates the headphone. If talking with players/friends, the mic does work, you just need to plug the mic into the set, not a big deal and turning on the mic Via Home, settings, audio, activate mic.
