- Answer The contact sensor is what is attached to the doors or windows. Essentially it's like a magnet that when it's apart, the alarm will activate. They are battery powered (I think they last about 5 years, and it's a simple watch battery). They have a strong double sided tape that sticks to the door, and the frame, or window and frame

- Answer If you get WiFi service in the garage, then yes. You may have to purchase an additional accessory to extent the central hub range to have the sensor work.

- Answer This kit does not come with a ring doorbell camera or any other cameras. However, I did see a kit with a camera included, and you can always purchase the doorbell separately.

- Answer Their stickup camera is indoor only. Its not waterproof for outdoors. Their elite is indoor or outdoor and then they have two other cameras that are outdoor and come with lights. Go to Ring.com to see all of their features on the cameras.

- Answer It is very easy and straight forward to install. The app will guide you. You will need an outlet for the RING Hub, the extender, and the camera. The rest (keypad, motion, and door/window sensors are wireless.

- Answer The app has a people mode and small dogs shouldn't affect it. You could always create the motion zone a little higher. off the floor to not pick up the dog.Not sure on the cameras
