- Answer The delay notification can only be configured for the base station; however, you can change the mode settings for the sensors to not send any alerts when at home.

- Answer Hi TamG. Great question. No, you do not need to subscribe to a monitoring plan. When you get a Ring Alarm, you can either self-monitor your own alarm system, or you can utilize the Ring Professional Monitoring service that comes with the Ring Protect plan. Professional monitoring is a service that monitors Ring Alarm for alarm signals, and can notify emergency contacts and request emergency dispatch from the authorities. The Ring monitoring center is a team of trained agents in a secure location who watch all Ring alarms 24/7/365. - Answer Hello JoJo, Yes, you will get audio alerts when a Sensor is opened, and you can review Sensor activity history in the Ring app. The Contact Sensor is made up of two parts - the sensor and the magnet - and when installed on your door or window, it can tell if the door or window is open or closed. - Answer We have been babysitting our Daughter’s Large Dog and she does not set off the motion detectors because you can set the motion detectors chime to off settings when we are home.

- Answer Yes these Ring sensors can be used or mounted on horizontal sliding windows and doors. You just mount the operating sensor on the a flat surface and have room for it slide off the mount base to be able to change batteries. The magnetic piece has to be within less than 1/2 inch of the sensor in the window's or door's closed position. I chose to mount the sensor on the upper or top corner of the patio door (operating sensor) and the door frame (magnet piece) that is flat. The wood piece that frames the patio door is not flat but a small aluminum frame is flat and allows the magnetic piece to fit.
