Hi Shawn, Thank you for reaching out! Yes, sometimes interference or distance can cause the setup to fail. Even with the best wifi router and minimal obstructions, wifi signals get weaker as they travel. If your router is far away from your Ring product, consider moving it closer when attempting the setup. Use this link to learn more about common causes of wifi interference: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020044511-How-to-Make-Wi-Fi-Work-For-You. You can also reach out in the Ring Community. It launched in March 2019 to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our customers. You can find tips and tricks from other Ring users at https://community.ring.com/. This peer-to-peer forum allows our neighbors to share their feedback and experiences to assist each other in resolving their concerns. All the Best, Nicole with Ring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both the Blink and the Ring. The Blink is easy to set up, has very clear photos (even at night) and notifies me immediately when someone is at my front door. Alexa tells me through Ring that someone is at my front door, but I have to log on to my iPhone or iPad, put in my code, go to a screen, etc., before I can see who it is. With Blink, I can see immediately. I don't work for Blink. I am simply a senior citizen who likes to keep things simple.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same difficulty but checked my network reset and moved chime pro closer to my modem No more problems
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have an android you have to click on the auto join setting and turn it off. However if you have an iPhone it’s much easier to join the wifi and the setup will go smoothly. My dad has an android so I have to log in from my iPhone and the setup was easier.
