Can the chime module also work when entry doors are opened on the Ring Security System? null

Absolutely!  The door just shows open and has already chimed and will chime when closed again.  In the meantime, if that door has a video doorbell, you'll get separate notifications via chime and network (phone and PC).   
A lot of great thought has gone into the design integration of the ring system.  Had ours for a couple of months and still finding it pretty amazing.

Great question! No, the Ring Chime only sends motion or door ding audio alerts for Ring doorbell and security camera devices. The Ring Alarm Keypad and Alarm Base Station will play chirp tones on exit and entry, if desired. If you have any Amazon Echo devices in your home, those can be setup to play chirp tones as well, by following these instructions: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/4524869247124-Play-Alarm-Sounds-on-Echo-Devices.
