No these are not glass break detectors. That’s the one “gap” in the Ring alarm lineup though with motion detectors in the right places not really necessary for most installations.

Ring said they were working on that accessory, but these will only notify you if they are separated from it's matching piece (if the window is opened). So depending on HOW an intruder would break the glass, it might work. Alexa is also adding a "Guard" feature soon, which will make your Echo devices listen for glass breaking.
