You can use the Ring app to see what’s happening, turn on the lights, speak to visitors, and even sound the siren when you need to. The lights and camera do activate with motion, though the light only comes on if needed (when it is dark). I'm not sure whether Best Buy will install. If you are replacing an existing light, then it is relatively simple. If not, or if you're uncomfortable around electricity, then you should have an electrictian install.

Also you can turn the lights on manually from the app. Geek squad might install this. If not an electrician will be able to install this. If you are replacing this light with a preexisting light the installation is a breeze on will only take minutes to do.
