Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, Yes Ring products require an existing home wifi network for setup and use, a smart device (phone or tablet) and the Ring app, which allows you to control all the functions of your Ring devices. All Ring devices are compatible with 2.4 GHz networks. Some Ring devices are able to use 5 GHz networks. Ring products don't work with a wifi-enabled smart phone, without a separate home wifi network. Ring products don't work with Bluetooth. More information on using Ring devices please this help article: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004666066-Ring-Doorbell-and-Security-Camera-Frequently-Asked-Questions Also, Ring Community was launched to help deliver the most current news and educational information to our neighbors. The Product Boards are where you can begin new topics with your questions or feedback; there is also a search option that helps you find topics that have already been posted by other neighbors.
