Height is Not an issue as long as the fixture has unhindered WiFi connectivity.

Yes I believe so as they can be angled to be set at the most advantageous areas, ex side of house and front of garage.

Great question! The Ring Floodlight Camera works great at about nine feet above ground level, with the motion sensor parallel to the ground. From this height, your Floodlight Cam can cover a wide visual area as well as capture HD video of visitors’ faces.

There may be times when accessing the device’s setup button is needed, and at eighteen feet, that may be difficult. We do have a plug-in option available for more flexible installation options.
