Not sure if I am answering this correctly, but if you are paying for a ring plan, each plan covers so many devices. If you are at your limit, you may have to upgrade to the next plan level.

Yes, if you purchase another Ring device, depending on what Ring Protect Plan you have you will need to purchase another plan.
