• You can set it up on the Rng app to either detect or not detect when an object is in its field of view. At the same time, you can also receive notifications of this.

• Since we have ours in the kitchen and do not rely on it for security, I turned off the movement detection. Every time someone walked past the whole Ring thing would start. Also do not need something recording everything walking past inside the house. Useful for observation. Much better camera than our ADT system.
