“Does the Ring security camera need to go thru Alexa. I want it to go to my Iphone”

• This camera does not need to exclusively go through Alexa. Notifications will be sent to any phone that has the Ring app downloaded and signed in to a valid account. Alexa can be configured later once the camera has been set up in the app, but isn't mandatory.

• Just download the ring app onto your phone and go thru the setup for your camera and it will be connected to your phone. You can set the motion alarm to on or off depending on if you want to know if something triggered the motion sensor on the camera.
