A:AnswerHello,
Great question! Notifications for motion and doorbell dings are completely customizable within the Ring app. Notifications can be set for each mobile device users device, i.e: your spouse and you who have different cellular phones can choose which notifications they'd like to receive and which they would not. Here is a helpful article regarding how to enable notifications on your mobile device: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002934246-How-to-Enable-Notifications-on-a-Mobile-Device. This article shows you the visual differences between a motion and doorbell ding event: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210052646-Understanding-Notifications-for-Ring-and-Motion-Events.

A:AnswerI have my porch light on every night. It has an LED light with DayLight Specs....it gives off very bright WHITE light.
As you can see in the picture taken at night, it shows color.
This way any intruder or bad actors will have a very nice color picture. Our neighbor had some pranksters and they don't have an LED Light with DayLight....picture was not great.
A:AnswerHello Malik,
Yes. All Ring doorbells and cameras, including the Stick Up Cam, are able to use Live View and Two-way audio. Ring security cameras offer a wide array of features as well as peace of mind when it comes to monitoring and protecting your home or place of business. However, having so many features, power options, and price points can cause confusion when it comes to deciding which Ring camera or cameras are right for you. That’s where the Ring Security Camera Buyer’s Guide can help.
This article will walk you step-by-step through the process of choosing a security camera and setting up a system to keep your home and loved ones safe: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041531472-The-Security-Camera-Buyer-s-Guide.

A:AnswerYes, this device uses a quick release rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery is charged using a common micro-USB cable (an orange one is included in your Ring box). The micro-USB cable can be plugged into any USB power source such as a computer. Your battery will take around five to 10 hours to fully charge depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet.

A:AnswerHello Divine,
Good question! This device does require a 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection @ 2.4GHz in order to function properly within the Ring app and send you motion notifications. Using mobile device hotspots in place of a home wifi network is not recommended and may cause your devices to repeatedly disconnect.
