It will work, however, the longevity of anything electrical gets significantly lower in full sunlight, and even less with high heat

This device works well in Arizona for many of our customers, especially when paired with a Solar Panel as you have an abundance of sunshine. The Ring Stick Up Camera is weather-resistant. It is designed to work at temperatures ranging from -5 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 to 45 degrees Celsius). We would suggest that you place this device in a shaded area, if possible. Keep an eye out for any bright sources of light such as reflective metal or the setting sun that might "blind" your camera at certain times of the day. Here is a helpful article with more placement suggestions: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016151332-Proper-Positioning-for-your-Stick-Up-Cam-Battery. For any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out on our community forum at https://community.ring.com/. Thank you, Alexis with Ring
