• Yes, you can purchase a solar panel or the "indoor/outdoor power adapter" to plug it into a power outlet. The battery will be used as a backup in both cases.

• I believe the “wired” model is different than the wireless. It is my understanding that the wired model plugs in while the wireless runs off battery
