• I would rather use a Solar Panel. I have 3 Ring Devices connected with attached Solar Panels. The battery always shows 100%. With Solar Panels you are protected agains power loss. I have my router attached to a Batter Back-Up Power.

• Yes but you would have to purchase the solar panel or plug separately. I have one of mine on solar power and the other two on battery.
