Yes indeed this camera has a little connector opening above the mount opening. It is covered by a little rubber tab. Remove that and connect the solar cord and that is it. Of course mount the two of them in their optimal locations.

There is a little covered tab where the solar plugs in above the mount opening. https://youtu.be/P2Pa_BRhzCE (you tube video link that shows a review of it including the solar connection) I screen shot this YouTube video and attached the link - this is not my video ... but I did refer/ watch this when I was deciding to but they ring.
