Two-Step Verification is an extra layer of security designed to ensure that you’re the only person that can access your account. This means that when you try to log in, you’ll either get an email or text message asking you to confirm your identity. The idea behind Two-Step Verification is that you’re verifying two different ways that you are who you say you are, when you log in. You wouldn’t want to make it easy for anyone to get into your account from an unauthorized computer or mobile device. Changing your email address will be easier if you have your phone number in your Ring account and have Two-Step Verification enabled for text messages. To verify that your phone number is in your account, follow these instructions: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002566283-Changing-your-Email-Address-in-the-Ring-App. If you encounter any issues in this process, please reach out to us here: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036196372. We also invite you to reach out at https://community.ring.com/ if any additional information is needed regarding your Ring Stick Up Camera pre-purchase question. Ring Community is our first peer-to-peer community forum, giving our customers the ability to help one another and share their feedback and experiences with Ring. Thank you, Alexis with Ring
