Thanks for asking! No, the Ring Stick Up Camera Battery will not notify you by phone call of motion detected. However, you can get push notifications (Ring Alerts) from your doorbell when someone presses the button on it and when motion is detected. You will get alerted on your smart phone or pads or watches that someone was at your door or property.
You will not get a phone call - there is an alarm option which may call you ? Look under info about and type in your query.
