A:AnswerI wouldn't suggest velcro unless it's very very strong and durable otherwise you'd be wasting your time the cameras are ment to be drilled to something it's best for proper placement and minimal disturbance to the device

A:AnswerHello Plaem,
Ring products “see” the world through a network of three linked passive infrared (PIR) sensors. These are heat sensors that detect motion by monitoring heat within the detection area. Since people are hotter than the surrounding areas, as a person enters the detection area, the heat measurements change. The motion sensors register this change as movement and send out an alert. In addition, the PIR sensors are pointed downward to detect motion from five feet to 30 feet away, while minimizing notifications from things like traffic. This article will help you set up your Motion Zones and give you some tips in making them more effective: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices.

A:AnswerHello LARL,
The Solar Panel would work to power this device but Ring security cameras require high speed wifi internet to perform properly. Without wifi, you will not receive motion notifications or be able to stream videos on your device.

A:AnswerYes this camera is wifi enabled. The megahertz of the camera should not matter but check to make sure you are using the correct password. You can have both megahertz speeds but different passwords because the wifi name can be different.
