Out of the box your Ring Peephole Cam will send you notifications based on the settings you select within the Ring app. When you receive a notification on your smartphone, you can tap on it, which will launch the Ring app and start the live video. Additionally, you can access the Live View feature 24/7 via the Ring app. If you would like all events recorded and stored (for up to 60 days in the US), you can enroll in one of our optional Ring Protect Plans. This ensures you never miss an event, allowing you to review the videos at your leisure.
