Yes, But first the device must be installed in place of the existing peephole and you must have WiFi (internet) in you house as well as a smartphone with the Ring app installed. Once the camera is installed and set up, you will have a 30 day free trial during which the videos will be saved. After the 30 day trial, you must sign up for the storage service or the videos will no longer be saved. The service will cost $30 per year for one device and all videos will be saved for 60 days after they are recorded. The videos can then be viewed on your phone at any time for 60 days or they can be downloaded and saved indefinitely for your use anytime. After the 60 days, if videos are not downloaded, they will be erased.
