• Ring fixed it. It now can be turned on from dusk to dawn or for any shorter period just like any other floodlight

• No the only way it works is with motion. It will not work like a regular floodlight

• Yes you can though the Ring App. Please remember these are meant to be used for motion sensor and added security to your home. Since they are powered by battery only, they may drain quickly if left on. I just got them installed and I haven't been able to test the lifespan of the 4 D batteries yet.
