Hi RickyP. Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus has two 3000° K spotlights. Ring devices can detect motion up to 30 feet with the motion sensitivity slider at the maximum level. If you turn motion sensitivity down, this range will be lower, decreasing false motion. If your device is missing motion, increase the motion sensitivity using the slider. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus has an 140° horizontal field of view and an 78° vertical field of view. It can be angled slightly left, right, and down, allowing you to adjust the camera's view to focus on the desired area.
