  • QuestionDoes this have an option setting for an alert outside of notifications on your phone, like a noise??

    Asked by Chan.

    • Answer Hi Chan. Good question. You can connect your Ring Spotlight Cam Plus to a Ring Chime or a compatible Alexa-enabled device to hear notifications inside your home. Connecting Ring devices with Alexa is a simple process. To accomplish this, you’ll need to add Ring as a skill in your Alexa app. Once this is done, you’ll be able to use a variety of Alexa-enabled devices with your Ring devices. • QuestionFor the Ring spotlight Cam, do the batteries need to be pulled out and charge even though a solar panel is hooked up?

    Asked by karl.

    • Answer Hi karl. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. The device's battery level may vary based on the amount of direct sunlight the solar panel receives. It is important to ensure that your Ring Solar Panel is installed correctly and that it is receiving enough direct sunlight to operate as intended. For best performance, Ring recommends at least two to three hours of direct sunlight for the Ring Solar Panel. With the recommended amount of direct sunlight, the device will remain continuously charged under most conditions.
