QuestionAre you able to schedule particular hours during which the camera provides motion notifications? My camera would be installed in a daytime high traffic area and I only want notifications from 6pm-6am.

QuestionI purchased this camera yesterday, but need a longer cable between the transformer and camera. I want to splice additional 8’ length into this cable… can you tell me what gauge and wire count is required?

Spotlight Cam Plus has Customizable Motion Zones that are controlled in the Ring app. In addition, Spotlight Cam Plus has two-way talk with noise cancellation and other advanced features like motion-activated notifications, 1080p HD video, color night vision, and a built-in security siren. - Answer Hello, Great question! You do not have to use the optional Solar Panel accessory with this device. Your Spotlight Cam battery is charged using a common micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring box. Simply plug it into any USB power source. Your battery can take around 5–10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet.
