Hello. My Spotlight Cam Pros are supposed to arrive today. They are the wired ones with the plug on I believe. Can the plug be cut off and directly wired or will that cause a problem? Thank you null

you will need the hardwire kit (https://ring.com/products/hardwired-kit-usbc-cameras). Call an electrician to have this installed on your property for a peace of mind that the wire is installed properly. Good Luck!!

Thanks for asking. The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro comes in four different power options: battery, plug-in, solar, and wired. To convert your Ring Spotlight Cam Pro Plug-In to hardwired, use the convenient, weather-resistant hardwired kit for cameras (sold separately).
