• A:Answer You'll always need to have your new Ring connected to your home or businesses WiFi in order to access the Ring applications camera video recordings. The solar panel only facilitates power or the recharging of the Ring camera's batteries. By the way, I have solar panels connected to both of my Ring cameras with dual batteries installed in each and the Ring camera almost always maintains a 90%+ charge state. Great device, hope you enjoy yours.

• A:Answer This camera requires very strong Wifi signal, contrary from what Ring says. My camera always had problems connecting even though I had 200 Mgbs and about 25 to 30 feet away from hub. FYI I'm running one of the best Orbi Satellite Systems for my WIF Signal.
