A:AnswerNo. You have to subscribe to the service to make use of any video captured. This includes downloading it, or even viewing it. This system requires you buy a subscription in order to use properly. My subscription at the time of this writing is about 10 bucks a month.

TMobile services my area now so I jumped at the chance for increase my speeds drastically from 5-7mbps to 400+mbps! Cameras work better now, pictures seem clearer, not nearly the freezing or delay in play back I had with old slow internet. Works great now!

A:AnswerHard to say what the rating is, might wanna ask the manufacturer, but mine's about 30 ft from the router & does fine. One thing I just realized, however, is that mine will only recognize 2.4Ghz, not 5Ghz. Good luck.
A:AnswerInfrared LEDs have a faint red glow when they're on. That's what you're seeing are the infrared (night vision) LEDs. You'll notice in early morning the colors will be off for objects, for example, reds bricks look blue, blue levis jeans look orangish. This is the camera mixing infrared colors with normal colors.
