With the wired version, you get the camera and tools needed to mount camera along with the cord. It does not come with a battery. Now if you want it to work off battery and or solar panel, I would suggest you to just buy the wireless one and buy the solar panel. Reason: the wired one does not come with a battery, but you can buy one for 30 bucks...and a solar panel for 50 bucks....but as of right now, the wired camera and the wireless camera both cost the same price. So you would save 30 bucks buying the wireless one and adding a solar panel to it.
