• It means it connects wirelessly to your WiFi. But uses a wire to power the camera. It makes it easier than having to run 2 cables .

• It means that it does not have a battery. It has a regular cord that plugs into an outlet in order to operate the camera. It will not work unless it is plugged into an outlet.
