No there is no plug to plug it into a 120 if you do not have an existing doorbell. It has a battery and is wireless for those with no wiring which is how I have mine set up. The battery should last about 6 months before recharging is necessary and it will tell you when it’s getting low so if you want to buy an extra battery for $29 to swap out the other one while it’s charging because it takes a long time to fully charge.
