Hi Lak. Great question. Yes, you can set up your new Ring Video Doorbell 4 on the same Ring account. You are also able to transfer any existing Ring Protect Plan to a new device in the same account. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 is Ring’s newest battery video doorbell with features including all-new color Pre-Roll technology, 1080p HD video, two-way talk, advanced motion detection, enhanced dual-band wifi, and quick replies. With color pre-roll, users can see even more of what’s happening outside their front door. With an additional 4-second color video preview of each motion event, the doorbell will automatically start recording before users even receive an alert. We invite you to reach out to our Community if any additional information is needed regarding your question. All the best, Nicole from Ring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My old ring quit working completely as well. I bought the new ring 4. Deactivated my old ring and added the new device to my account. All done on on the same app as the old ring. By the way, very happy with the new device.
