- Answer It can also work with the built-in rechargeable battery (can be recharged externally) but I would definitely recommend you to wire it with the default 24V doorbell wiring.

QuestionCan this be mounted to the front door instead of where the doorbell is? My doorframe has glass sidepanes, and the front of the house is brick. The existing doorbell is about 1" wide, mounted to the window sideframe, so it can't be put there.

- Answer It can go basically anywhere you want. You obviously want the most prime view for optimal protection. It does not need to go right where your doorbell is.

- Answer RING will work on battery power and you can set your chime to phone, tablet or PC. I’m not sure if you can link existing chimes.

- Answer As I recall, you get 3 months of free cloud storage, allowing you to review motion and ring alerts. Afterwards, there is a subscription service. I believe that we paid a year in advance for $30. Not sure if that plan is still available.

- Answer As far as I know it will work with any phone as long as you pay the monthly fee. After your 30 day free trial you can not even use this doorbell except in live mode waste of money
