Absolutely. This one has a rechargeable battery so need for any wiring. Just attach the back plate to the wall with a couple of screws, secure the doorbell and your Ring camera/doorbell is all set.

Great question! Yes, we do recommend that you place the Ring Doorbell next to your door, at about 48 inches from the ground. You can! Just make sure you fully charge it, and would have to recharge it when it runs out. Without hardwire you’ll just have to recharge the battery every now and then.
