At temperatures below 40°F, lithium-ion batteries are less effective at holding a charge. Since your Ring Doorbell (2020 release) is powered by a lithium-ion battery, if the temperature drops below 40°F, it may be necessary to charge your Ring product more often. Lastly, the more events captured by your Ring Doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the 1080p HD video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers. Please reach out to us today at https://community.ring.com/ for additional tips and support.
