This is dependent on a number of factors, including the number of motion events, the number of live view requests, and the weather. You can install the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) on an existing chime kit for continuous power. If doing so, a transformer with a voltage of 8–24 VAC, 40 VA maximum, and 50–60 Hz is required.
