• If you don’t have existing wiring from a doorbell on your house, you can also purchase an AC adapter from ring to power it. It should work on this version just like on others.

• Hello Sparky, We offer many different doorbell options such as the Ring Video Doorbell 3 which is battery operated. Our battery operated doorbells do not need an existing doorbell to work. Best regards, Jamila
