Hi JJJJ. Thanks for reaching out. You will want to install the Ring Video Doorbell Pro on a flat surface. If installing on stucco, brick, or concrete, use a 1/4" (6mm) masonry bit to drill holes in your wall, then insert the included wall anchors. Visit our support center for more information. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i cut the raised part of molding out with wood chisel and utility knife to make it even with lower part of molding. hold your base plate in location you want, mark it and cut out raised wood area to match lower wood area
