  • QuestionWhat kind of storage does this device provide? I mean is there an option for local storage, such as a SD card?

    • Answer Unfortunately there is not an sd slot on any of rings doorbell devices BUT, any movement or footage captured is stored through a subscription on the ring app which I believe is only three dollars ($3) a month for one device. If you have a ton of ring products the subscription would instead be ten dollars ($10) a month to cover footage for all devices.

    • Answer My 40 year old doorbell worked just fine with this one. It's not the age of the existing doorbell, it's the voltage being delivered through its transformer. Only if it's outside of specifications would I consider changing that transformer.

Yes, To access Live View on Ring.com: Log into your Ring account using the same email and password that you use for the Ring app. Select one of the Snapshot images under the Cameras' section for a camera or doorbell; Live View will open. Depending on which device you’re using, there are certain things you can do: Enable sound by selecting the speaker button (available for doorbells and cameras). Use Two-Way Talk by selecting the microphone icon (available for doorbells and cameras). Your browser may ask you to give ring.com permission to access your microphone. If this happens, select Allow. Turn on lights by selecting the light button (available for spotlight or floodlight cameras) Activate the camera siren by selecting the exclamation button. To end Live view, select the End Live button.   • QuestionMy Ring was installed by BB and can't get help now from installer. Sometimes my hardwire chime has a slight buzz at times since install. I actually put a new chime in. Is it a voltage issue and how can i adjust.

    • Answer Hello Simmi99, The device not ringing your home's internal chime kit properly is a sign of power issues to the Ring Pro. Did this just start happening? Verifying you have a properly rated transformer installed is a great first step! This device requires 16-24 VAC, 40VA max, and 50/60Hz. You could need a new Ring Pro power kit installed inside your home's chime kit.
