Ring - Wired Doorbell 2K (newest model), Speckled Gray + Chime (newest model) - Speckled Grey & White

The battery version of this is an absolute joke. 3 expensive batteries that last maybe a month, at best, and an 8 pack of the batteries that will work are $25 a package. For an existing doorbell, its simply taking the cover off the chime, connecting the jumper, and wiring the doorbell outside. The chime is far cheaper buying in package, and adds the same in the Blink app. It's very good in an enclosed front porch of being able to see anyone going by and who's dropping a package at the door, and the chime does have a volume control so it's not one horrible level.

For me this was a switch from Wyze. I really liked the quality and the viewing angles. Night mode also looks very acceptable. Sound quality is good. The material looks solid. This restyling did Ring a lot of good. Setup and connection are simple and fast. What disappoints me is the paid subscription. But I understand that these days you pretty much can’t avoid it.

Product is useful for my home need though while configuring mentioned device updating and become solid white after that how many number of time to reset or disconnect and connect back solid white was not returning back to white rotation to continue as it seem totally locked, at last disconnect from power and left for couple of minutes then started the installation process made successful. One movement of time no clue what to do how to proceed as the instruction are unclear

I’m a Ring Pro installer in SW Florida and I install Ring video doorbells and cameras all the time and the reason I recommend them and why customers stick with their products is because they work and they work well. They hold up better than any other video doorbell in the SW Florida heat and humidity and their WiFi connects better than others through our CMU block construction.

After years of the doorbell not working I decided to fix it with a Ring doorbell camera wish I would of known how easily I could of fixed it early but after getting a quote from a home repair company for $790.00 I got motivated and after replacing the transformer for under 50$ and getting the Ring Doorbell camera on sale for under 120$ spending about 1/2 an hour installing it I think it was worth it.
