Yale - Assure Lock 2 - Smart Lock Wi-Fi Deadbolt with Push Button Keypad | Key Access - Black Suede

We have installed more than 4 Yale Assure 2 locks. The set up for them is relatively straight forward. The app is very reliable. Though we only recently installed this lock, the only curious thing about the ones I have installed is that the battery life though reasonable - more than three months - seems to be somewhat short. It may be due to notifications (the door is ajar, opened, closed, unlocked, locked). This is also one of the best features. We always know when the doors are locked/unlocked and by whom. You can also lock or unlock your door for guesses during an event at your home. If you ever forget to lock your doors, you can easily know the status (locked/unlocked) by looking at your app which can be added to your Home on the Apple IOS platform. The only concern I had was that on the instruction it stated that that the handles had to be installed with the slots in one side, when they actually were to be installed differently. Installing them as stated in the instructions would have had the lever handles facing the door jam, where the door opens and shuts, instead of away from the door jam. The only reason I knew to ignore this was by experience - though I second guessed myself for about 20 minutes before switching the levers.

The Yale Assure Lock 2 Smart Lock exceeded my expectations with its reliable WiFi range and easy installation process. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. Once installed, I was impressed by the lock’s consistent connectivity, allowing me to control it seamlessly from anywhere in my home. We purchased this lock to replace an older version of the Yale Smart Lock. Easy to install and easier to use then the older version. You are able to customize pin numbers on this version. Also comes with a key lock - which makes me feel better about having an electronic lock! Good purchase and upgrade was definitely worth it. Lock is a little smaller the older version, so will have to paint around the lock to match.

It was hard finding the exact model in stock, since there are about ten different ways you can get this lock. I got the one with wifi, a physical number pad, and a key. It was fairly easy to install and get set up!

Works perfectly. Smaller profile that most other locks and directions were clear and concise! App accompanies the lock perfectly and connects to Alexa with the rest of my products for ease of access.
