This item came with a mini doorbell chime. It connected to my current doorbell chime.

First of all it charms on my phone, not when somebody pushes the doorbell but when anybody activates it at the door. Secondly Alexa tells me someone's at my door. Because my doorbell system is broken this system comes with a new doorbell chime anyway so I just need to wire that in Then I can tell you if the doorbell will actually work. But the backup systems of my phone charming like a doorbell and Alexa talking to me I never miss...
