• There's no aluminum in it. It's stranded copper.

• I can't remember exactly but I believe the packaging specifically stated that it was pure copper. The only reason I remember that is because I was looking for a deal on speaker wire a few months back and I noticed almost every product on Amazon was "CCA". I saw this in the Best Buy store and was pleasantly surprised to see how much better quality it was compared to all of the off-brand wires.
