“99% Copper or CCA (Copper Coated Aluminum) Called Rocketfish and they were a big cagey: They said it wasn't pure copper but also was not Copper Coated Aluminum. Anyone here with the product able to say for sure one way or the other? I could order from somewhere else but I want to pick these up in store today - slightly annoyed that the packaging doesn't advertise the copper content, and that is also what makes me wary.”

• Best I can tell, without chemical analysis, this wire is standard stranded copper wire--not aluminum or copper coated material. It is very good, high quality wire.

• Ive had no problem with the wire, is conducts just fine and the sound quality is great.

• I don't know what the material is for sure either. but I tried monster cable then rocketfish and found no sound quality difference at all.

• I believe if it says its 99% copper then that should be the percentage of copper if that is your question. Most wire other than ultra expensive wire will be a copper alloy mix. I stay away from CCA copper coated aluminum this is not CCA, you would see the aluminum at the ends where its cut. I'm not an expert so try to Google it.
