“I have a 2014 65inch 4k high def Samsung TV. The only port in the back is a one connect port. The HDMI cable from the cable box has a HDMI connector on both ends however the TV only has a one connect port. What type of HDMI cable will connect to TV port?”

It sounds like you need an HDMI switch box for additional HDMI cables
