• Get yourself a rocketfish 4K 12ft hdmi cable is it cheap, no, is it worth the money YES!

• I didn't use my hdmi on a gaming system so am not able to answer that question. The 8 ft cable was perfect for my needs (dvd play on a big screen using a epsom projector). I didn't have any lag in the movie or distorted image.
