“Trying to use this splitter w/ Vizio 4k TV, 4k Xfinity cable box, and a 1080 Toshiba. I switched the resolution of the cable box to 1080 so both TVs work but BOTH must be powered on for it to work. Can I have just one TV on with cable and one TV off?”

I have used with only 1 of the TV's on (either one of the 2 no issues). I have also had 1 TV on for awhile and then turn on 2nd - no issues there either. Of course have had both on at same time - again no issues. Hope this helps
